The Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma Training Course provides a strong foundation in the Lean Six Sigma methodology, empowering delegates to contribute to performance improvement projects within their teams.
Over two days, delegates will be introduced to core principles and tools, focusing on both process improvement and building a continuous improvement culture. They will gain hands-on experience with key problem-solving techniques, process mapping, stakeholder management, and change management strategies to improve productivity, quality, and customer experience in their organisation.

Agenda
Day 1
Introduction to Lean Six Sigma and Process Improvement Techniques
Delegates will be introduced to the foundational principles of Lean Six Sigma, focusing on its core methodologies to drive performance improvements.
The day will cover essential tools like process mapping and stakeholder analysis, providing delegates with the knowledge to identify areas for improvement within their teams.
By understanding customer needs and the concept of process mapping, delegates will be equipped to start making impactful changes.
Additionally, they will learn how to develop Project Charters to guide improvement initiatives, ensuring that any changes made are well-structured and aligned with organisational goals.
Day 2
Problem-Solving, Waste Reduction, and Change Management
A deeper dive into problem-solving and waste reduction techniques, building on the foundations from Day 1. Delegates will explore the 7 Wastes in Lean and learn how to apply the Effort-Benefit Prioritisation Matrix to focus on the most impactful improvements.
Root cause analysis techniques such as the 5 Whys, Spider Diagram, and Fishbone Brainstorming will be taught to help delegates resolve issues at the heart of performance challenges.
The day will culminate with an introduction to change management, equipping delegates with strategies to ensure that improvements are sustained and embraced by their teams.

An accredited trainer with the International Lean Six Sigma Institute (ILSSI), Kevin has trained and coached more than 3,000 professionals in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and structured problem-solving methodologies.
